The Vision of Unior Group until 2020

Our vision sets ambitious goals. In 2020, we shall be known as a progressive international company in metal processing and tourism activities. By employing our own innovation process in collaboration with the buyers, suppliers, related companies and research organizations, we shall develop, manufacture and market solutions with ever increasing added value. Our gross value added per employee shall be EUR 35,500 and our net sales revenues shall be worth EUR 198 million. We shall be the link in the dynamic UNIOR Group which shall exploit its synergies and achieve EUR 255 million in sales and, together with associated companies, employ 4,195 people.

Our core skills are: a broad technical and technological knowledge, diligence and the ability to identify business opportunities in our key business segments. Our core skills provide us with the following competitive advantages: a global presence, certain programmes or companies within the Group being among the key players in certain market segments or markets, and flexibility and competitiveness in terms of price and quality.

Key performance indicators of UNIOR d.d. are:

  • net return on capital;
  • net return on assets;
  • depreciation + profit;
  • EBIT (operating profit or loss);
  • EBITDA (EBIT + write-offs);
  • gross value added per employee;
  • gross return per employee;
  • indebtedness coefficient;
  • average monthly gross personal income per employee;
  • book value per share.

Strategic guidelines and performance indicators are also goal-oriented in terms of activity or programme. The fundamental principle for achieving goals of the company is to continue on the path towards permanent excellence. For this reason, we have set up and integrated quality management, environmental management, and safety and health at work systems.

Quality

  • To ensure and increase the clients’ satisfaction.
  • To ensure team work, communication, training, human resources development, motivation, innovation, health and safety of employees, and to encourage allegiance, trust, respect, and positive attitude towards work.
  • To establish mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and other interested parties.

Environmental Management

  • To monitor the emissions into the environment, prevent environmental pollution, streamline the consumption of sources, encourage sustainable products and consumption and replacement of substances detrimental to the health of people and the environment and thus improve the ecological and economic indicators recognised by environmental aspects.
  • To operate according to certain procedures, taking into account legislative and other regulations at the EU, country, and local level that apply to UNIOR d.d.
  • To ensure continuous improvement of the system and the impact on the environment. To monitor and evaluate all environmental aspects and to set goals for the environmental management programme in order to achieve these goals.
  • To constantly raise awareness and educate employees about the importance of protecting the environment.
  • To inform the employees, partner companies, suppliers, and the interested public about our environmental policy and to encourage buyers to implement similar principles.

Safety and Health at Work

  • The effects on the health of the employees shall be monitored by identifying, preventing, controlling, and reducing the negative effects on the work environment.
  • By identifying potential hazards, planning and implementing work procedures we will prevent injuries and damage during work and ensure promotion of health.
  • We shall maintain and improve the state of safety and health at work while taking into account legislative and other requirements.
  • We shall take into account the use of the prescribed personal protection equipment.
  • We shall continuously educate, train, and inform the employees to ensure safe work.
  • The periodic achievement of set goals, execution of the safety and health policy shall be checked, and action shall be taken if there are any deviations.
  • Every employee is obliged to ensure their safety and health and the safety of others.
